District reports summer construction progress, introduces student liaisons

District administration reported on summer campus work and introduced student liaisons during the July 8 board meeting.
Administration said the Webster Schroeder High School parking lot has been reconstructed and is on track to be available by Sept. 1 so it will be ready for the start of the school year. Officials said work on the Willink Middle School addition began about a week and a half before the meeting and was progressing.
The board also welcomed two student liaisons: Naya, a rising senior from Webster Thomas High School, and Rebecca, a rising junior from Webster Schroeder High School. The student liaisons will attend and sit at the table for meetings when able.
Administration praised Buildings and Grounds staff and audio/technical staff for work supporting outdoor graduations and summer projects. No public comments were recorded regarding the construction projects at the meeting.
