Lycoming County extends ARPA contracts, reallocates $2,501 within sewer projects

Staff reported amendment No. 3 to a recipient agreement with the Hughesville Borough Authority that moves the agreement's termination date from June 1, 2025, to Dec. 31, 2025. Commissioners approved the extension by voice vote.
The board also approved a similar extension for Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity's recipient agreement, moving its termination date to Dec. 31, 2025, with no change in the dollar amount.
A third amendment approved changes to a 7/15 agreement with the Lycoming County Water and Sewer Authority. The amendment shifts approximately $2,501 from the Beaver Lake sewer grinder-pump replacement project (reduced from $40,000 to $37,498.55) into the Schoolhouse Road critical leak budget, raising that project budget to $201,238.17. Staff emphasized there is no net increase in total funding under the agreement; the action reallocates existing ARPA dollars to address a higher-priority leak project.
Commissioners approved the water-and-sewer reallocation and the ARPA termination-date amendments by voice votes. Staff recorded no additional funding requests at the meeting.
