Washington County veterans program reports endowment growth, monuments dedications and local guitar-therapy relaunch
At the June 25 Washington County DHS meeting, veteran services staff reported private fundraising and an endowment sustaining memorial and flag programs, previewed monument dedications in Kewaskum and described a locally funded continuation of the Guitarists for Vets therapy program after the national organization paused operations.

Kurt, veteran services staff, told the Washington County Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on June 25 that the county’s long-running World War I and Civil War monument project is nearing completion and will include upcoming dedications.
