Planning department asks to fund new permitting software and data digitization; Tyler Technologies proposed

Britney Molitor, director of Planning and Development, told commissioners the department requested about $118,000 under capital for a new building‑permit software system and related capital costs. Molitor said the department has been using a system shared with Rapid City that lacks features needed for permitting, mobile inspections, online applications and public self‑service.
