Putnam County commissioners on June 24 approved Resolution 2025‑041 to accept multiple right‑of‑way deeds that accompany several lot splits on county‑maintained roads.
Public Works staff explained the deed offers are being recorded to update and standardize right‑of‑way widths on roads the county already maintains; affected property owners agreed to provide the deeds as part of new lot splits. Staff recommended, and commissioners approved, acceptance of the deeds to ensure consistent right‑of‑way lines for maintenance.
Commissioner Harvey moved approval; the motion was seconded and the board voted unanimously to accept the deeds. Commissioners and staff praised Marie Chase’s role in processing the requests.
There were no opposed votes and no further conditions attached to the acceptance during the meeting.
