The Montgomery County Commission approved several public-works contracts at its June 2025 meeting, awarding granite-aggregate and limestone-aggregate supply contracts and a dumpster rental and trash-collection contract.
On the agenda, the commission approved a bid award to APAC of Alabama for items listed as 3,7,11,12,14 and 15 and to Little River Materials LLC for items 8, 9 and 10 for granite aggregate. The commission also approved awards to Stevens Trucking, Lashley Trucking, Dunn Construction Company and Martin Marietta to provide limestone aggregate.
The commission voted to award a contract to GFL Environmental to provide dumpster rental and trash-collection services. For each of these agenda items the transcript records a motion for approval, a second and the notation "Motion carries." The transcript does not record roll-call tallies or identify the individual members who made the motion and second for each item.
The procurement awards were processed as routine agenda items; staff presentation details such as contract durations, dollar amounts and specific county projects tied to the materials were not reported aloud in the meeting transcript.
