The Hancock County Commission approved advertising for an open position on the Northern Panhandle Workforce Development Board retroactive to May 22, 2025, and confirmed two members to represent the county on the board.
Commission discussion named the appointees as John Cerenni and Bill Tice and included expressions of thanks for their service. "Just wanted to let those names would be John Cerenni and also Bill Tice," a commissioner said during the consideration. Both names were approved by voice vote; the item to advertise the position was likewise approved.
The actions were recorded under new business; commissioners did not attach additional conditions to the advertising or the appointments during the meeting.
