MPO director previews new Eagle Pass MPO webpage and UPWP timeline

MPO director Marietta gave a brief directors report noting a newly created Eagle Pass MPO landing page on the City of Eagle Pass website that will host agendas, plans and public input opportunities.
Marietta said staff will continue to refine the site and add historical agendas and documents. He also said staff is finalizing the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP, i.e., the MPO budget) and will bring a final version to the next board meeting for approval before submission to the state and FHWA.
Regarding the MTP, Marietta reiterated that public workshops would take place later that day and that staff is working to meet a target of submitting the completed plan to the state prior to December. He invited board members to submit agenda items for future meetings and thanked staff member Suzelle Figueroa for her work on the website and other tasks.
