The Sierra Vista City Council on June 12 approved ordinance 2025-003 revising multiple sections of the citydevelopment code to clarify temporary uses, update sign rules, tighten landscaping standards for nonresidential sites and adjust setbacks for semi-detached units, carports and manufactured-home parks.
Staff said the changes were intended to "improve efficiencies, clarify requirements, provide flexibility, and reduce unnecessary or obsolete regulations in the development code."
