Morrison County recognizes two long-serving employees, introduces successor and new staff

Morrison County commissioners and law-enforcement leaders recognized two longtime employees and introduced staff changes at the meeting.

Sheriff Sean Larson and commissioners celebrated the retirement of Mary (surname not recorded), the sheriff’s office’s office support supervisor, and Joy Biden Cross, who the board said served roughly 30 years with the county. Larson introduced Amy Krueger—formerly an HR director and community-education director at Boynton High School—as the incoming office support supervisor and said Mary’s last day is in August.

Commissioners and colleagues offered brief remarks praising both retirees’ service; the board presented small tokens of appreciation and took photographs. There was no formal personnel action or vote recorded on the retirements or hiring at the meeting; the introductions and recognitions were ceremonial.
