Committee advances bill to create online Oregon rulemaking information system with adjusted effective date
The committee adopted the -2 amendment to House Bill 3382, setting the operative date to Jan. 1, 2028, and moved the amended bill to the House floor with a due-pass recommendation and prior referral to Joint Ways and Means.

The House Committee on Rules considered House Bill 3382 in a work session May 28, 2025. Committee staff explained that the bill requires the Secretary of State to maintain an online Oregon rulemaking information system and establishes requirements for agencies to post certain rulemaking information online.
