TRC conditionally clears South Walton Commerce Park Phase 2 for development order

On May 21, 2025, Walton County’s Tactical Review Committee recommended approval of a minor development order for Lot 13 in South Walton Commerce Park Phase 2.
Staff reported the application, submitted by Core Engineering and Consulting, proposes two office-warehouse buildings totaling about 10,000 square feet on 0.87 acres with a Bay Walton Sector Plan Village Center future land use and zoning. Staff said three minor planning comments were resolved and no outstanding major comments remained; county fire comments had not been received as of the staff report.
Zach Rennick of Core Engineering confirmed the outstanding planning comments had been addressed and resubmitted, and Tim (staff) recommended approval and forwarding to the director to issue the development order. Committee members moved, seconded and approved the recommendation by voice vote with an “aye” recorded and no opposition. The development order will not be signed until any remaining administrative signoffs are completed.
