Committee votes to advance bill creating Lake Houston Dredging and Maintenance District
The committee voted and reported House Bill 15 32, which would establish a Lake Houston Dredging and Maintenance District able to issue revenue-backed bonds and sell dredged aggregate to fund operations; the bill passed the committee on a 7–0 roll call and will move to the full Senate.
