The board approved resolution 02/25-26, rescinding prior signature authorization and designating updated signatories for checks and disbursements. It also adopted resolution 03/25-26 to delegate authority to designated staff to sign purchase orders on behalf of the district. Both measures passed by voice vote with no recorded roll-call tally.
Directors also approved resolution 04/25-26, authorizing the write-off of uncollectible inactive child nutrition balances in accordance with board policy 6060. The motion passed by voice vote.
On construction oversight, the board adopted resolution 06/25-26 to engage OAC services for general-contractor advisory work for the Sumner High School master plan phase 2, the Bonney Lake High School expansion and the Holly Heights Elementary expansion. The board then approved an accompanying OAC consultant services agreement with the district. Both motions passed by voice vote after the capital projects presentation.
The board approved the district's five-year CTE plan and accepted the 2025 Perkins grant. Board members praised the CTE and college-readiness materials and noted a 99.7 percent graduation rate for students participating in CTE in 2023—24.
