Staff reported advisory groups have begun work on the comprehensive plan update and that the county received 571 electronic survey responses to date, with a May 30 deadline for submissions.

Planning staff gave a brief update May 13 on the county’s comprehensive plan update: four advisory groups are meeting, three of the four groups have had their second meeting, and the historic-preservation group’s second meeting was rescheduled. Staff said paper surveys are available at three county locations and that flyers with QR codes were distributed.
