Jackson County supervisors on Tuesday approved two resolutions that formally record existing Level C road designations for 70 Fifth Street and 1 Sixteenth Avenue.
County staff told the board these segments already have gates and signs in place and that the resolutions simply document what is observed in the field so the county’s legal records match existing conditions. The board approved Resolution No. 1116-05-06-2025 (70 Fifth Street) and a second like-numbered resolution for 1 Sixteenth Avenue by voice vote; the clerk recorded the motions as carried.
Staff said the action is administrative: signs and gate practices were already being followed and the resolutions provide an official record for liability and maintenance planning. No remapping or additional maintenance duties were announced as part of the approvals.
