County backs sheriff’s application for Missouri Blue Shield designation

Minder also said one potential benefit of certification is eligibility for additional state grants.
The motion to approve the resolution passed 3-0. No grant applications or new program commitments were approved at the meeting; the vote only authorized staff to support the sheriff’s application for certification.
