Keith County commissioners voted to proceed with an asphalt overlay on Airport Road, authorizing county staff to contract with Shellco Asphalt for $74,782. The roads superintendent told the board the road's spring thaw damage made chip seal unlikely to reach a five-year life, so an overlay would be better value.
