Superintendent: district preparing draft 2025–26 budget; students begin state assessments and Jackson Elementary groundbreaking under way

Superintendent Saltzman told the board the district is days from the end of the state legislative session and will prepare a draft 2025–26 budget in July with final approval expected in August; he also highlighted state assessment dates and a $54 million Jackson Elementary replacement project whose groundbreaking was held April 1.
