The Glades County Board of County Commissioners approved a budget amendment to fund an update to the county comprehensive plan.
Finance Director Tasha Morgan told the board that the commission had previously approved the comprehensive-plan update but that the budget amendment had not yet been prepared. The amendment moves $37,500 from Reserve for Contingency into the Planning and Building department budget to pay for the project.
Commissioner Patterson moved to approve Budget Amendment 24-25-13 appropriating $37,500 to the general fund from reserve for contingency; Commissioner Barnes seconded. The board approved the amendment on roll call, 4-0 (one commissioner excused).
