The Montgomery County Department of General Services (DGS) presented its FY26 operating budget and a set of capital improvement project (CIP) amendments to the Government Operations Committee. The department is seeking one new full‑time position to support invoice and payment processing and the County Executive proposed $125,000 in FY26 for operating support to the BlackRock Center for the Arts; committee members asked for additional financial analysis on the FTE versus continuing contract support.
