Staff clarifies Rinca contract amounts after public question

During the public comment and contract report period, a resident asked about the village’s contract with Rinca and why the packet showed a change from an original $57,000 to $84,065. Finance staff explained the village board had approved the contract up to approximately $84,065 but only phases 1–3 (about $57,000) were originally entered into the village’s Munis financial system. Staff updated the Munis contract amount after reconciling invoices.
