Paulding County commissioners approve AV, paving and equipment purchases

The Paulding County Board of Commissioners approved a series of equipment purchases and construction contracts during its meeting, funding several with county reserves and federal ARPA money.

The board voted to award $208,099.08 for superior court audio-visual equipment to DIS Digital, paid from the county’s ARPA fund and the seventh judicial court budget. Commissioners also approved two 2025 asphalt contracts: a Post 1 and Post 4 contract awarded to Magnum Payham LLC for $6,175,620.23, and a countywide contract awarded to Bartow Paving Company Inc. for $4,944,971.21. Funding sources for the paving contracts were listed as the general fund and SPLOS (as recorded in the meeting).
