The county recorder asked supervisors to consider a department-assigned vehicle to support voter-registration outreach, satellite-office visits and other field duties. The recorder said use of personal vehicles and ad‑hoc motor-pool trips is increasingly burdensome and cited outreach on tribal lands and veteran services as examples.
