Planning board approves minor code correction to enable certificate‑of‑transfer use in TDR program
The board recommended approval of a text amendment to the Unified Land Development Regulations to allow transfer of residential units under the city’s transfer‑of‑development‑rights (TDR) program at the time of a certificate of transfer rather than at final DRC. Staff said the change addresses the city’s first active TDR transaction.

The Fort Lauderdale Planning and Zoning Board on April 16 recommended approval of a text amendment (case UDPT‑25006) that makes a narrow, technical change to the Unified Land Development Regulations (ULDR) governing the city’s transfer‑of‑development‑rights (TDR) program.
