The Oklahoma County Board of Equalization voted to approve routine agenda items, including the case of March 10, complaints for earnest assessment and petition for correction, and assessor certificates of clerical error.
The board convened a short tax-roll session and approved the March 10 case after a motion and second; members responded “Aye” on the voice vote. The board then approved complaints for earnest assessment and petition for correction, followed by motions to approve assessor certificates of clerical error. Each motion was seconded and passed by voice vote.
Board members present during the votes included Chair Eleanor Thompson, Brett Towne and Theresa Sellers. No debate or public testimony was recorded during this portion of the meeting. The board adjourned the tax-roll session after completing those items.
The approvals were procedural and did not change the status of any pending contested appeals. The board returned later the same day for a scheduled special session to hear property valuation appeals, where the board told parties that written decisions would be issued after deliberations on Thursday.
