A teacher-led review committee is recommending Amplify CKLA as the 3 Rivers School District's next K–5 English language arts curriculum, and district leaders say they will ask the school board to adopt the program at its April 16 meeting.
The recommendation follows a winter pilot in classrooms across the district. "13 amazing humans have spent an exorbitant amount of time researching what is best for students and what is best practice and what is research based," said Jessica Duran, director of curriculum and instruction, introducing the presentation to the board.
