Council reappoints Doug Keeler as Springfield representative to MWMC through 2028
The City Council voted unanimously to appoint Doug Keeler to another term as Springfield’s representative to the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission, with the term ending Jan. 31, 2028.

Doug Keeler was reappointed as Springfield’s representative to the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission (MWMC) by the City Council at the work session. Councilor Michelle moved to appoint Keeler; the motion was seconded and passed 5–0 with Councilor Stout excused. The motion read: "I move to appoint Doug Keeler to the MWMC for the term ending 01/31/2028."
