Monte Cristo Elementary reports low projected proficiency, sets targets for reading, math and attendance

Principal Lynn told the Granite Falls School Board that I‑Ready and Smarter Balanced projections show third- through fifth-grade proficiency below prior years; the school outlined goals to raise typical and stretch growth in reading and math and to increase attendance to 80% of students attending at least 90% of days.
