Elbert County hears concept brief for 58-acre ‘Valentine’ planned unit development
Developers presented a concept plan for the Valentine PUD near Highway 86, describing phased commercial and residential areas, drainage and floodplain constraints, wastewater and water-rights considerations, and a request that the county seek CDOT removal of an access restriction.

Commissioner Byron McDaniel, chair of the Elbert County Board of County Commissioners, convened a concept-briefing on the Valentine planned unit development that would cover just over 58 acres near Colorado Highway 86, about 1.5 miles east of the town boundary of Elizabeth.
