Next the committee considered the bill referral report. After review and a roll-call vote called by the committee clerk, the referral report was approved by a vote of 11 to 0, with the same members recorded voting yes.
The committee then reviewed an introduction and referral report; the chair moved that the report be accepted and, hearing no objections, the committee approved it without objection. The final item of business was a congratulatory report; the chair moved acceptance and the committee approved that report without objection.
With no further business, the chair adjourned the committee and asked members to sign the rules and referral reports before leaving.
