The House Economic Development and Workforce Services Committee on Friday gave SB 230 a favorable recommendation to the full House, endorsing language that standardizes the spelling of Utah’s resident demonym as “Utahn.” Representative Fiofi moved the committee recommendation; the motion passed unanimously and the committee later placed the bill on the consent calendar.
