Inspector Dixon reported two inoperable vehicles and accumulated appliances and debris at 1344 Parkwood Street (case 17-25). The board’s order requires removal of inoperable vehicles or restoration to roadworthy condition and removal of scrap, appliances, and trash; the board authorized city abatement and lien recovery if the respondent does not comply within five days.
Inspector Daniel Cassey presented case 18-25 for 929 Bruce Avenue, describing overgrown vegetation, debris (including what appeared to be pilings or dock material in the driveway), and a posted notice that returned unclaimed by mail. The inspector said the owner reported lacking funds to remediate. The board ordered lot clearing, mowing, edging, and removal of debris within five days and authorized city mitigation and lien recovery if noncompliant.
Inspector Daniel Kasman presented case 20-25 for 131 Devon Drive, where demolition debris and a fallen silt fence were observed after a home demolition. Kasman said the property still had a pile of plywood and a deteriorating silt fence; the board ordered debris removal and silt-fence repair or replacement within five days and authorized city abatement and lien procedures if not corrected.
All three motions passed on voice votes.
