Planning Commission approves RPA exception at 312 Shadow Walk with planting condition
The Falls Church City Planning Commission approved an exception allowing construction of a screened porch on an existing deck at 312 Shadow Walk within the seaward portion of a Resource Protection Area (RPA). Approval was conditioned on installation and maintenance of the planting schedule in the site’s Water Quality Impact Assessment (WQIA).

The Falls Church City Planning Commission on Feb. 19 approved an exception to allow construction of a screened porch at 312 Shadow Walk within the seaward portion of a Resource Protection Area governed by the city's Chesapeake Bay ordinance. The commission's vote followed staff recommendation and public comment from the property owner and a tenant.
