ADRC outlines senior nutrition program, funding streams and meal volumes

Jess, the nutrition coordinator at the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), gave an overview of the senior nutrition program, the sites it serves and how it is funded.
The ADRC reported 3,688 meals served in December (2,610 home-delivered and 1,078 congregate), and 44,619 total meals for all of 2024 (30,191 home-delivered, 14,428 congregate). Jess said congregate participation in Viroqua has roughly doubled since changing caterers and that congregate sites provide both nutrition and socialization.
