The Muscatine County Board of Supervisors on a 4-1 vote approved revising the classification and pay grade for the county position currently titled Planning and Zoning Administrator to County Development Director and separately approved new class specifications and grade assignments for building, zoning and environmental inspector I and II positions. The board also approved placing a current Building, Zoning and Environmental Inspector II (grade 14, step 4) into an Inspector I position (grade 15, step 4), effective 02/22/2025.
