Kyla, the village’s public works and utility director, presented a memo that would formalize three initial sustainability recommendations for facility and vehicle procurements: that facility projects include sustainability options for the Village Board to consider; that public‑works staff bring at least one facility-related sustainability improvement to the board annually; and that departments provide alternative pricing for non‑gas/diesel vehicles when submitting requests.
