Marathon County board appoints Nicholas Endres to represent District 24

Endres introduced himself to the board before the vote, saying, “I stand before you with a deep sense of gratitude and unwavering commitment to serve as your county supervisor for District 24.” He said he will represent Bevent, Frazin, Gundrum and parts of Mosinee and the town of Knowlton and outlined priorities including support for local businesses, workforce development and education.
The board took a motion to approve the appointment, with the motion made by Supervisor Masc and seconded by Supervisor Carvelli. The chair called for the vote; several supervisors responded “aye,” the chair said the motion carried and “is unanimous,” and the clerk administered the oath of office. Endres repeated the oath after the clerk and completed the ceremony.
The appointment fills the District 24 seat. No other formal conditions or contingencies were recorded in the meeting minutes or the discussion provided at the Feb. 13 session.
Nicholas Endres will take his seat immediately after the oath was administered.
Meeting minutes show the appointment was handled as a single-motion vote and recorded as carried unanimously.
