Wright County opens campground reservations March 3; seven-night stay limit introduced

Brad, a Wright County Parks and Recreation staff member, announced that campground reservations for Wright County will open Monday, March 3, at 8 a.m. for Wright County residents and at noon for all others.

The change compresses the reservation opening times that previously followed a different schedule and introduces a new maximum stay length. "Big change for this year is instead of 14 days, you can only do 7 nights now," Brad said, adding that the county’s reservation website and account process remain the same.

Under the new rules, users should create or sign in to an account on the Wright County Parks reservation site, select a campground and dates on the map, then add selections to the cart and complete payment. Brad demonstrated that available sites display in color while unavailable sites are gray and noted a per-receipt limit: "You can do up to 5 items per receipt," meaning a user cannot book more than five separate sites or cabins on a single transaction.

Brad also highlighted Bertram campground facilities: "We do have 6 camper cabins at Bertram. They are available year round." He said the cabins can be booked in winter, and the county will offer a "winter welcome gift" for cabin guests through the next month. Availability for specific nights will show only once the system is active for bookings.
