Summary
The board approved multiple routine items in a single batch: secondary-dwelling and garage-apartment applications, several ANRs and plan endorsements, and approved minutes from prior meetings.
At its Feb. 6 session the Nantucket Planning Board approved a series of routine, administratively focused items including secondary-dwelling and garage-apartment applications, several approvals of ANR (approval-not-required) plans, endorsements of previous plans and minutes from prior meetings.
Under the secondary-dwellings and garage-apartment agenda item, the board approved multiple applications (including addresses on Swift Rock Road, Pilgrim Road, William Street, Wadell Road, Chakma Road, Crooked Lane and Honeysuckle) and juryed them together for a single vote. A board member moved to approve the applications "with the appropriate findings as delineated," and the board recorded aye votes.
The board also endorsed three ANR plans (including parcels on Wheat Drive) and earlier preliminary endorsements and previous-plan endorsements (for Van Gilder Subdivision lots). Two applications — Marble Way LLC (8 and 10 Marble Way) and 19 Weydale — were requested for withdrawal without prejudice and the board recorded those withdrawals. The board also approved minutes from several January meetings and recorded the motions as continued where noted.
These items were presented as routine staff recommendations; board members asked no substantive substantive policy questions on the batch approvals and staff will incorporate the approvals and withdrawals into the official minutes and plan records.
