Cobb County appoints Michael A. Cunningham as fire chief
The Cobb County Board of Commissioners appointed Dr. Michael A. Cunningham as county fire chief in a 4-0 vote on Feb. 11 after a recommendation from the county manager. Cunningham, a longtime department member and Air Force veteran, pledged to continue the department's tradition of service.
