Bill, the owner's representative, told the infrastructure committee that elevator submittals are in and being processed and that the annex elevator schedule should be available this week; staff have a contingency plan if the manufacturer's in-house production cannot meet the schedule.
On the court-clerk area (Fifth Floor), Bill said abatement for mastic and floor tile had begun and was "about 25% complete," and that the project remained on track for the county’s target occupancy dates. Bill said the clerk book work was "still on schedule, for 03/31/2025," though he noted he had not seen the final punch list or final invoicing. He identified flooring on the north side as the critical path item for completion.
Bill reported annex security abatements for first and second phases were complete and third-phase abatement was under way; exterior work had been delayed by weather and concrete work outside would take another eight to ten days, but interior phasing was progressing and staff planned a temporary wall to take over the front area in March.
On drainage and culverts, Bill said the documentation — about "50 gigabytes worth" of flow-line and culvert information — had been delivered to Stacy’s office and that Accenture would take additional time to close the item out.
For the behavioral-health project, Bill said a testing laboratory had been selected (Standard Testing) and that material and envelope testing submittals were under review; site work was in early phases (site grubbing and cleanup) and Plinco had agreed to pull proctors on existing materials. Bill also said the project team was establishing a failed-test back charge to the contractor as an outstanding issue to be resolved.
Commissioners moved to receive the owner's representative report and approved the motion by voice vote.
