The Committee on Parole denied parole Tuesday for Stanley Anderson, a habitual-offender inmate serving a 30-year sentence tied to an attempted first-degree murder conviction. The hearing at Rayburn Correctional Center on Feb. 3, 2025, included support from reentry provider The First 72+ and opposition from the Jefferson Parish district attorney.
