Planning commission approves resolution recommending zoning changes for small wind systems
The St. Mary's County Planning Commission voted to forward PC Resolution O8‑17 recommending amendments to chapters 50, 51 and 90 of the county comprehensive zoning ordinance to allow and regulate small wind energy systems, and authorized the chairman to forward the signed recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners.

The St. Mary's County Planning Commission voted Nov. 24 to approve PC Resolution O8‑17, a recommendation to amend chapters 50, 51 and 90 of the St. Mary's County comprehensive zoning ordinance to address small wind energy systems, and authorized the commission chairman to sign and forward the resolution to the Board of County Commissioners.
