At a Jan. 30, 2025 Yakima County Board of Commissioners work session, Commissioner Curtis said he would move forward with legal staff to share a 2025 memorandum of understanding related to the Sprint Boat Racing Project with the Fair Association and continue discussions, and Commissioner McKinney said he reviewed the document and strongly supported that step.
