House adopts limited remote voting for committees through 2025
The House adopted House Resolution 5 to permit each member of a House committee to vote remotely for up to three days through the remainder of calendar year 2025; members must notify the committee chair and clerk and remote votes must be recorded by clerks.

Representative Bartholomew, speaking for the Committee on Rules, said House Resolution 5 would allow limited remote committee voting and asked the House to adopt the resolution.
