Committee forwards bill to codify veterans-homelessness coordination

Representative Daley Provo presented HB 266 as a limited, preparatory bill to formalize cooperation between the state Office of Homeless Services and veterans' affairs programs. "This simple bill basically codifies something that already happens," Daley Provo told the committee, describing the measure as groundwork for larger interim work on programs to prevent and rapidly end veteran homelessness.
