Dr. Gregory Reed addressed the Claiborne County Board of Supervisors on Jan. 21 to introduce himself as the newly appointed county administrator. Dr. Reed said he planned to improve departmental coordination, support grant-seeking, and ensure county offices operate efficiently. Supervisor Chambers commended the board for bringing Dr. Reed aboard and noted that having an on‑staff grant writer was an asset for the county.
