County staff presented routine annual items that the board approved on Jan. 28: a resolution designating county officials authorized to request fire-suppression assistance through the South Dakota Department of Agriculture (Resolution 2025-03); volunteer rosters submitted for work-compensation coverage for search-and-rescue and weather spotter volunteers; and the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) roster required to remain eligible for LEPC grants.
