Project managers gave a status update on the Carpinteria Advanced Purification Project (CAP), describing progress on design, permitting and contractor outreach and identifying next milestones.
Chris (project manager, WSC/Woodard & Curran) told the boards the project is being developed in three separate construction packages: the advanced water purification facility (AWPF), conveyance pipelines and injection/monitoring wells. He said the separation allows AWPF-specialized contractors to bid without excluding smaller local firms from pipeline work.
